In early 2020 I began working with a Graphics Designer to bring my Pluff Planets to ‘life’, so to speak. I had envisioned a Table Topper Birthchart for a child-sized table, with small planets that could be moved around. First, the planet glyphs needed to be customized to reflect each planet’s primary character. Fabric planets, though my default medium, are extremely labor intensive, so perhaps the planets could be embroidered discs. And then there was Covid…which necessarily changed the whole concept: everything must be able to be disinfected!!
By the end of the year the planet glyphs were customized and produced as BUTTONS—very light, easily moved around the Table Topper, which was also coming together. A quick-reference Information card with critical data about the planets and the Zodiac signs was developed. The pictorial representations coordinate with the buttons and the Table Topper. I sold a few sets, but the Topper needed a tweek, which turned into a major upgrade in Spring of 2021. The ‘As above; So Below Table Topper’ was copyrighted and the set came together beautifully.
